Did Morrie's Eau Claire Subaru go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.
In 2020, Subaru and its retailers made a donation to Feeding America to provide 50 million meals to help feed people in need during the COVID-19 crisis,* making meals available at 199 local food banks across the country.
*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks.
Subaru and our retailers are committed to protecting and preserving the Earth, not just by our words, but also by our actions.
More than 13 million pieces of hard-to-recycle waste collected and recycled through TerraCycle®.
Subaru believes we all should have a chance to lead a healthy life. That's why Subaru and its retailers, like us, partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) and their local hospital or cancer treatment center to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by retailers and Subaru customers in their stores, to support patients facing cancer. Through our partnership with LLS, we've supported nearly 350,000 cancer patients nationwide. We're proud to be LLS's largest automotive donor.
Subaru and its retailers, like us, are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning(R) by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are needed to help students thrive in the classroom. Through our partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru and its retailers will have supported more than 470,000 students nationwide and are proud to be their largest corporate supporter.
Subaru believes all pets deserve a loving home. That's why Subaru and its retailers, like us, partner with a local animal shelter every October to provide direct financial assistance and host adoption events to help animals find loving homes. Through our partnership with local and national organizations, we have donated over $51 million, which has supported the adoption, rescue, transport, and health of over 420,000 animals. We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.
Subaru and its retailers believe in giving back to our communities. That's why for every new vehicle sold or leased during the Subaru Share the Love event, Subaru and its retailers, like us, makes a donation to national charities that our owners care about and to over 2,100 local charities where Subaru owners live and work.
Now, after 15 years, Subaru and our retailers have donated over $256 million to charity all to give back and to make the world a better place.
Subaru and Morrie's Eau Claire Subaru believe in making a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work. We uphold that belief through our Love Promise Community Commitment. Every month, we select inspiring stories from customers and partners from around our area who strive to support our collective commitment and feature them here.

Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District is continually amazed by the generosity of our local business community, and Morrie's stands out as a shining example. Their contributions to our district will have a lasting impact on our students' educational journeys. Their support helps us to enrich our programs and resources, opening up new opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for being a "driving" force in our students' success and for Morrie's dedication to improving education in our community. Many thanks.

Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) have been partnering together for years through the Subaru Loves to Care program in which Subaru retailers will have supported nearly 350,000 cancer patients by the end of 2024. Subaru is proud to be LLS’s largest automotive donor. However, this year Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru has a new community partner in the Albert J. and Judith A. Dunlap Cancer Center. On June 17th, Morrie’s Subaru employees pulled up to the cancer center with a generous donation of warm blankets, patient care kits and handwritten messages of hope for the cancer patients. The team of caregivers received the gift on behalf of their patients with gratitude for this new community support. This type of partnership allows the caregivers to do even more to improve the quality of life of their ill patients. In a follow-up conversation, Heidi Guy, Oncology Nurse Manager at the Albert J. and Judith A. Dunlap Cancer Center, stated, “Thank you all for your time and efforts! The blankets and care packages will be put to good use. We have already handed out several to our patients and they are loving them! Thank you for including our site for this event, we really appreciate you!” These blankets warm the body, but the care that accompanies them warms the heart! Thank you, Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru!

In Wisconsin, at least 1 in 6 children face food insecurity daily, which is linked to increased health problems and challenges in learning. Our longstanding partnership with the local Subaru dealer in Eau Claire has made a significant impact on the lives of children and families in west central Wisconsin. Through generous donations from Subaru's Share the Love program, we have provided over 400,000 meals to children, families, and seniors in Eau Claire and surrounding areas. Thank you, Morrie's, for your unwavering support and commitment to addressing hunger in your local community!

Morrie's in Eau Claire held a wonderful fundraiser for Eau Claire County Humane Association (ECCHA). We had volunteers bring adoptable animals to their grand opening event and they had so much fun! Morrie's raised $4,500 for ECCHA which is HUGE! Being a small non-profit, any donation is a big deal, but $4,500 goes SO far for us. With $4,500, we can: Pay the shelter electricity bill for 4 months Spay/neuter 65 cats Buy 50 bags of dog food Buy over 200 bags of cat litter Thank you, Morrie's!

For several years now our family has been purchasing our cars from our local Subaru dealer. Primarily due to the level of service we receive since they are always respectful, helpful, and go over and above to ensure that we have been happy with our purchase and the service we receive from them. So much so that my wife and I have purchased 3 cars from them in the last 4 years, and my daughter and her husband have purchased two from them in the last 4 years. Needless to say we love our Subaru dealer and our 2016 Forester that now has 210,000 miles on it. Last year I retired from my long-time career and took on the role of Executive Director of Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley. We are an emergency family shelter that can assist 8 families at a time that are experiencing homelessness. On my second day in that role, we went to my favorite dealer to accept a check from their Subaru Cares Program. That day I was introduced to the dealers, and to Subaru’s, commitment to the communities they serve. For the last several years they have made a major donation to our shelter. They are one of our largest corporate contributors and have been for several years. Earlier this year a new owner took over the dealership, Morrie’s. Naturally the questions started surfacing throughout the community wondering if the new owners would keep the same level of service, support, and commitment to the community. Well, we can all be assured that they have maintained, and in fact, have increased the level of commitment to their customers and to the community. Allow me to give a couple quick examples. My daughter purchased a car and an extended warrantee from the dealership about a week prior to the new owner taking over the dealership. The vehicle had some issues, and they took it to Morrie’s for service. The issues were major, requiring rebuilding of the motor. They not only honored the previous dealer’s extended warrantee but provided the family with a loaner vehicle while theirs was waiting for parts from the non-Subaru manufacturer. Score, Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru. When the transition in owners occurred, I was contacted by the staff at Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru and told that they were going to support us as the previous owner had promised. On the day of the check presentation, we were shocked at the amount of the check as it was significantly larger than any other Subaru Cares program check we have received. Their generous support will allow us to continue to serve families experiencing homelessness in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin. We are forever grateful for the team at Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru for their support of our mission of advocating for and supporting families who are homeless in our community by providing temporary housing and support services, and by fostering independence. We very much wish to thank Morrie’s Eau Claire Subaru, as well as Subaru, for their commitment to their customers and to us as a non-profit trying to help the members of our community. We could not do what we do without amazing partners like Morrie's Eau Claire Subaru!!
